Genesis

So i rarely ever read the old tesament i can never get into it. so i decided to read some of it through the summer and go lil chapters one by one. and so i started reading about Jacob. Man oh man. the first thing that caught my eye was he had 12 kids by 4 different girls. BUT i loved how whenever God told him to move or something he didnt complain like we would and say " well everything i have is here" he just obeyed and left. so i read the story about his daughter.

reading this story made me realize i know alot of girls in my school or in my family who have gotten either beaten up or raped by a boyfriend or dad or any man.

so in Genesis 34; 1-32

Dinah one of Jacobs daughters' get "voilated" by a guy named homar and wants her as her wife.

and after her big brothers Levi & Simeon get mad. As like any brother mightt do they go and find him and kill his whole town. ( im sure in this day we wouldnt kill anyone but probaly beat them up) and at the end Jacob was like why did u do that they might have others come after us.

what i got out of this is think before you act. also revenge is never a pretty thing because it goes both ways.

If anything serious like Dinahs sitiation happens to you. pray before you tell people or try o get revenge.

Tijuana <3 July 28 2009

So as i sit on my trampoline today I remember were i was a year ago. In Tijuana on a Monday morning eating lunch and starting to walk the neighborhood with 3 little boys calling all their friend to come to the cite. I miss it alot. when i was down there all my worries and problems disappeared. it was great. while i was there on the 26Th and the 2 day before we got in to out MIG (ministries in Groups) for VBS and had sermons and quiet times. The second day i was so nervous so i just prayed to God and he gave me stories like Daniel. But on this day (or yesterday) we went on the missionary field. Everything from there changed my life once we got on that bus and headed to Tijuana.

this verse came to mind yesterday while reading.

Matthew 25: 34-45

Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

I also took a journal with me on this trip ill rewrite what i wrote on that day.

"woke up at 5:30 to roasters screaming and then loud music. eat @ 6 then left on the buses at 7. i was really nervous but when we got there it was all in Gods hands. my team went to the city to paint and the first house that i guess didnt get painted last year and the team from the yr before us said some one will come out this year and we did and she was blessed . Then on the bus before we got off she said God had sent us like angels. then this guy we were going to help his house had just gotten broken into and when we got there he called us angels and we had a blast helping them, we are still not done so we are going back agian and they keept calling us weird but it was fun.. Then we got back to the building cite and eat lunch then we walked to vbs and we had 3 lil boys and they were so cute and i connected with a few of the kids and plan on "adopting one" of them but they loved the drama set. at 5 went to the ranch and eat had free time and unhindered played and heard a sermon."

I met some amazing people there and plan on going back one day. <3

Bitterness,Anger,Judging.

so during my walk with Jesus i have seen some crazy stuff. one thing that annoyes me the most is people who call them selfs christians but judge allllllll the time. It goes against everythin the bible says. I wish Jesus was walking the earth with us. it would be alot easier. So i know this person who shall be nameless and all she does is judge all the time.they grew up believing and alln that stuff. but it gets me so down because i know theres other people like this out in the world. She also hates like all my friends. Also she seems grummpy all the time. I have this one friend who made a few mistakes and she never will allow her to come over anymore. here is some good scriptures if you are a person whos judgment. I do not hate this person dont think that i just pray she stops being so bitter.

1 cor 13;5 -- if you love you are not angered,self-seeking, and keeping of wrong doings*

(its like she or others think if you make one mistake you can never be trusted)

Ephesians 4:29 -- Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

(dont put people down!)

(verse 32) --Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you

So im gonna pray for all those people who are annoying (JK) who have issues with being judgment because i know i have other "issues" :]

stay tuned.

Looking at my facebook when i opened it yesturday on the 7th tons of my friends had there status the same : RIP Kory.

I didnt know him but knowing he past and just graduated in 08 was kind of shocking. He passed from a car acciendent because of speed he hit a tree and telephone pole. He was training to be a fireman. Life is to short to taken anything expecally life for granteed.I wanted to say sorry to his family, girlfriend, and friends who lost him. He is in a better place. I heard good things about him. Reading the comments on his page truly showed how much of a good friend he was to his friends. Today was his vigale @ Vets. I pray for anyonewho came in contact with him that they my lean on Jesus with this sad situation.

"And i declear that the dead who have already died are happier than the living." - Eccl 4;2

He is with the Lord now.

Enemies.

So on myspace alot there are bulletins and latley there was this great

question that alot of people have been answering good ha and it shows a different side i guess of some people i knew. heres a few answers.

Your ex is on the side of the road, on fire. What do you do?

-i guess I would stop and help.
-i'd obviously help him , i ain't that much of an asshole .
-depending on who it is , i'd leave 'em [;
-laugh , and then get out of the car and ask whats he doing

These answers kinda got me thinking. Would we put aside our problems and hate toward some such as an ex to help them? or would we even forgive them. heres another question on a survey...

Could you forgive your best friend for sleeping with your bf/gf?

-they would no longer be my bestfriend , & i wouldn'tbe able to trust them ,
or even like talk to them ,so whatsthe point of forgiving them .

Do you hate or dislike more than 3 people?

- yeah.
- easy
- yeah.

None of these questions were answered from me.
some however were from "Christians".

Im reading in Romans about Enemies.
12; 17 DO NOT repay evil for evil.
My favorite one is ; verses 20:]
If you enemy is hungry fed him; If he is thristy; give him something to drink.

In another book it says if we do not fed others who are in need we do not fed Jesus.

Son I pray that this generation could be more loving becasue obv we are not and only think about what we need today and now.
