Tijuana <3 July 28 2009

So as i sit on my trampoline today I remember were i was a year ago. In Tijuana on a Monday morning eating lunch and starting to walk the neighborhood with 3 little boys calling all their friend to come to the cite. I miss it alot. when i was down there all my worries and problems disappeared. it was great. while i was there on the 26Th and the 2 day before we got in to out MIG (ministries in Groups) for VBS and had sermons and quiet times. The second day i was so nervous so i just prayed to God and he gave me stories like Daniel. But on this day (or yesterday) we went on the missionary field. Everything from there changed my life once we got on that bus and headed to Tijuana.

this verse came to mind yesterday while reading.

Matthew 25: 34-45

Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'

I also took a journal with me on this trip ill rewrite what i wrote on that day.

"woke up at 5:30 to roasters screaming and then loud music. eat @ 6 then left on the buses at 7. i was really nervous but when we got there it was all in Gods hands. my team went to the city to paint and the first house that i guess didnt get painted last year and the team from the yr before us said some one will come out this year and we did and she was blessed . Then on the bus before we got off she said God had sent us like angels. then this guy we were going to help his house had just gotten broken into and when we got there he called us angels and we had a blast helping them, we are still not done so we are going back agian and they keept calling us weird but it was fun.. Then we got back to the building cite and eat lunch then we walked to vbs and we had 3 lil boys and they were so cute and i connected with a few of the kids and plan on "adopting one" of them but they loved the drama set. at 5 went to the ranch and eat had free time and unhindered played and heard a sermon."

I met some amazing people there and plan on going back one day. <3
